🦊 Medieval 2 Total War Best Faction

Good Breeding: A guide to taking care of your family tree. Greetings, this is partly in response to the people having trouble getting good generals married, and just as a guide to those who wish to have a well bred family. First of all, let me show you my family tree from my Denmark campaign. Of course Total War did some futzing with times and the like to get everything to fit together but assuming this is Genghis Kahn's mongolian empire, it stretched across all of Asia and had over 100 million people. I'd say they probably had some cash. the best Muslim faction is no Muslim faction. i think you will find that Ghengis Khan was a Crusades and Teutonic are both generally considered to be the best two campaigns. Americas is cool for a playthrough as Spain and maybe one as the other factions but it is very repetitive. Britannia is ok too, I found it to also be slightly repetitive as most countries have somewhat similar units. As for what to start with, depends on what you Epirus is my favourite. Before the game was announced I sorta rolled my eyes as to why they were a DLC faction. Indeed it was Athens I was looking forward to playing. But I tried out Epirus and has the most fun campaign I've played in a modern Total War game. A 60 year war in Greece fighting the alliance of Athens and Sparta, and once that was Medieval 2 Rebels is the most fun I've had playing TW in a while. Medieval II. After changing the playable factions data in Medieval 2 I decided to play as the rebels just for shits and giggles. It is absolutely the most fun I've had in a total war game for quite some time. I haven't really been able to get into the newer games, but man this You've now unlocked Denmark, in addition to the starting factions of England, France, the HRE, Spain, and Venice. Resart as Denmark on E/E, short campaign. Blitz the HRE with heavy infantry spam (dismounted huscarls, Norse swordsmen, Viking raiders, Norse archers), sacking your way through their cities, and getting your castles up to the drill France is a shining example of feudalism in its rawest, and arguably, most delicate form. The French lords eagerly embrace the system that splits the country up into smaller provinces, duchies and fiefdoms, actively building up their forces to ensure their own security and power. About the only thing the French lack at this point is a sense of For a harder vanilla+ experience, go for Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod (version 4.3 I think is the latest). It adds the factions from Kingdoms Campaign on a new bigger map, adds garrison scripts (there a file to disable them) plus when higher tier buildings are built, older units are no longer reqruitable, thus AI always has the best units available in its armies. Best Factions in Medieval II: Total War (All Ranked) 1. England. England was the first faction that I ever picked in this game when I first set myself on a quest to finish 2. Holy Roman Empire. I mean, if you’re really looking for the most well-rounded faction in terms of economy, 3. Spain. Game: Medieval II: Total War Culture: Middle-Eastern Religion: Islam Contents. Emergent faction. Strengths. Best cavalry power in the known world. Weaknesses. Pro tip 1: Longbows can erect wooden pikes during pre-battle phase. Use these against France and the Mongols/Timurids, and every bridge defense. IMO the best strategy for England is to blitz Scotland and take Edinburgh before The Pope excommunicates you. In your first turns, construct roads and small farms in every settlement, take York, and Good: Thranduil's Realm. OP as f*ck. Woodland Sentinels are boss and 2 units of archer demolish an orc unit in 1 or 2 vollies. Evil: Clans of Enedwaith. Surprise huh? The clans have such powerful Skirmisher units. Greyflood Raiders and Angren Raiders can literally demolish ANY unit in the game in about 2 vollies. And each unit can do about 13 french aventurier, if you are patient enough TheLastAvatar05 14 years ago #5. Kingdom of England. Their Sherwood Archers are perhaps the best archers you could get. Proud Member of Squad 422. "Altaha Abilia". Dodds101 14 years ago #6. England 100% foot archers. Horse archers Turks. I just purchased Medieval II - Definitive Edition after reading in the game description that there should be tens of factions to play with i.e. European; Native American and Middle Eastern however when I launch the game I see a map of Europe and the Middle East only and I can choose from 5 European factions to play only i.e. England, France, Holy Roman Empire, Spain and Portugal Medieval II: Total War. What is the hardest faction to play? ElChino223 14 years ago #1. I would say the hungarians. mrmystic 14 years ago #2. Hungary is pretty easy for me. I would have to go with France or Portugal. Whenever I play as France HRE ends up walking through me, and as Portugal I end up getting attacked by both France and Moors in 7QEmn.
